Activity Logs¶
The Activity page shows everything you've done in Proof Keys Studio - from creating keys to signing documents.
What is the Activity Page?¶
The Activity page is your complete history of actions:
- All your operations: Keys created, proofs created, sign-ins, etc.
- Organized by time: Newest events first
- Detailed information: Shows what happened, when, and which key was involved
Viewing Activity¶
- Go to the Activity page from the sidebar
- You'll see a table with all your activity events
The table shows: - Time: When the event occurred - Type: What type of event (color-coded) - Message: Description of what happened - Key DID: The key involved (if applicable)
Activity in Notifications¶
You can also see recent activity in the Notifications widget:
- Located in the top navigation bar
- Shows your most recent events
- Updates automatically as you perform actions
- Click to navigate to the full Activity page
Event Types¶
Different types of events are color-coded:
- Key Created: When you create a new key
- DID Created: When your user DID is created (registered users)
- Key Upgraded: When you upgrade a key to use your DID
- Proof Created: When you create a proof
- WebAuthn Registered: When you register your account
- WebAuthn Login: When you sign in
- Session Opened: When a session starts
- Session Closed: When you sign out
What Gets Logged¶
The following actions are logged:
Key Operations: - Creating new keys - Upgrading keys
Proof Operations: - Creating proofs
Authentication: - Registering your account - Signing in - Signing out
Account Operations: - Creating your user DID (for registered users)
Privacy¶
- Your activity only: You only see your own activity
- Session isolation: Anonymous sessions are separate from registered users
- No cross-user data: Each user's activity is private
Using Activity Logs¶
Activity logs help you:
- Track your work: See what you've done and when
- Debug issues: Identify when problems occurred
- Audit trail: Keep a record of important operations
- Monitor key usage: See which keys you use most
